GREENWAY NEWSLETTER December 2003 Issue 37 NEXT NAC MEETING IN JANUARY The next meeting of the Greenway NAC will be on January 15, 2004 at 7:00 PM. We will meet at the Beaverton Resource Center, 12500 SW Allen Blvd. This is the location of the old Beaverton Library at the intersection of Hall Blvd and Allen Blvd. This location received many favorable comments at the October meeting. Look for the agenda flyer in the mail next month. Our guest speaker will be the State Senator Ryan Deckert. 125th /BROCKMAN/GREENWAY INTERSECTION CONSTRUCTION The intersection reconstruction project is slightly behind schedule. The initial paving should be completed by December 19, weather permitting. PGE is doing utility work and should be finished by the middle of January. This will allow final construction, except the final paving, to be completed by the middle of February. The final paving will be done in the spring during a period of dry weather. I will have the latest update at the January NAC meeting. HAGGEN'S NEW STORE AT MURRAY AND BROCKMAN On Thursday January 8 at 7 p.m. the South Beaverton NAC will host Dale Henley, President & CEO of Haggen, Inc. and Bob Fluhrer, District Director. They will present information on the new Haggen's to be built on Murray Blvd. Topics may include the building schedule, land use layout, traffic access, and what to expect in a Haggen store. Cookies baked in a Haggen bakery will be served. Members of the Greenway NAC are welcome to attend. South Beaverton NAC meetings are held in the Community Room of Southridge High School, which is at 9625 SW 125th Avenue.
