GREENWAY NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE

                                                              Meeting Minutes
                                                              April 19, 2007


Jim Persey called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm in the library of Conestoga Middle School.

The minutes from April 19, 2007 were approved as written.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Station 66 gave a fire services update on neighborhood calls, reminded us of Fire Prevention Week and provide smoke detector and safety tips. The station remodel should be completed by the end of November. 29 new recruits will be placed in stations by the first of December.

Beaverton Police Officer Bowen provided an update on neighborhood crime, left copies of YTD statistics and answered questions and concerns from the neighborhood. A shredding service will be provided at City Hall on December 1, 2007 beginning at 10:00 am.

Nancy Moyo with the Beaverton Arts Commission discussed the upcoming Connection Summit which will bring together Neighborhood Association Committees and city leaders to discuss resources, funding and volunteer opportunities.

Beaverton Mayor, Rob Drake, provided an update on city projects and answered neighborhood questions:

Jim Percey gave a summary of the Neighborhood Cleanup:
663 total vehicles
Greenway NAC earned $529.64

Brian Walker will take over the Vice Chair position for Greenway NAC, all other officers will remain the same.
