GREENWAY NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE
                                             MEETING MINUTES
                                             JANUARY 18, 2006

The Greenway NAC meeting was held in the library at Conestoga Middle School.

Jim Persey called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm.

Community Police Officer Jones provided an update on neighborhood activities
including recent robbery attempts at local businesses. Theft from cars continues
to be the most common crime reported in the neighborhood. Remove valuables
from your vehicles and park them in a garage if possible. Officer Jones reminded
us that the city website can be used to report traffic problems.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue station 66 provide an update on their call history in
our neighborhood. Medical calls continue to account for over 80% of the total call
volume. Station 66 will be the first building to begin upgrades with the Bond
passage.

Bruce Barbarasch of Tualatin Hills Parks & Recreation District provided an
update on the Greenway Park Habitat Enhancement Project. Phase I work will
begin at the southern end of the park. In February and March, four Saturdays will
be available for volunteers to help; please call the Park & Rec. Bruce introduced
the Outside Guide, which is a new park newsletter.

Senator Ryan Deckert provided an outlook on issues being considered in the
2007 legislative session and answered questions from the neighborhood.
Jim Persey provide an update on traffic questions that were asked at the last
NAC meeting. Issues included stop light at Sorrento, flashing yellow turn signals,
Fanno Creek crossing at Hall Blvd, and timing of lights on Farmington and
Watson.

Next NAC meeting will be April 19th. Changes in the Greenway NAC Bylaws will
be reviewed.
