Meeting Minutes
April 17, 2008
Jim Persey called the meeting to order at 7:04 pm in the library of Conestoga Middle School.
The minutes from January 18, 2008 were approved as written.
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Station 66 gave a fire services update on neighborhood calls and provided handouts on kitchen fires.
Beaverton Police Officer Rob Wolfe passed out crime statistics for our neighborhood and informed us of the DUII Enforcement Award the department earned from the state.
Guest speakers were City Council candidates Cathy Stanton and Jason Ridge. Each provided introductions and answered questions from the audience.
Jim Persey discussed some local land use issues:
- 125th extension design change.
- CarMax auto dealership at the Malibu Raceway site.
Neighborhood issues:
- Spring clean-up Saturday June 7 at the old Westgate Theatre site.
- July 31st Concert in the Park at Greenway
Reminder:
- NAC meeting May 15th at Conestoga Middle School; traffic engineers will talk about the tentative changes to the 125th Ave. extension.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 pm.
